We’re developing fully electric, Jones Act\u2013compliant vessels that run on solar-charged battery systems. These boats are built to handle the same routes and responsibilities as traditional diesel-powered crew boats\u2014just without the fuel, fumes, or noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We take inspiration from companies around the world that are already proving this concept works. By combining proven technology with local know-how, we aim to help decarbonize offshore operations while creating opportunity here at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We expect to begin accepting exclusive vessel partnerships by early 2026, with full operations planned for early 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As offshore wind development picks up momentum in the Gulf of America,
Gulf EV is positioning itself to support the growing demand for clean, reliable crew and cargo transport to these future wind installations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

With federal lease areas already designated off the Louisiana coast and long-term goals set for local renewable energy production, we see a clear opportunity to align our vessel operations with this new chapter in Gulf infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our battery-electric vessels are especially well suited for the offshore wind industry, where emissions reductions, noise control, and operational efficiency are key priorities. We’re actively planning service routes and fleet capabilities that will be able to support installation, maintenance, and logistics for wind farm developers, operators, and subcontractors.
